alt.usenet.offline-reader.forte-agent (or a.u.o-r.f-a, for short) is a public Usenet newsgroup that is dedicated to discussing Agent and Free Agent. At Forté, we believe this newsgroup belongs to the Agent Community, not us. We also believe that the Agent Community should determine our role in that newsgroup.

A couple months ago, we changed our policy in alt.usenet.offline-reader.forte-agent from active participant to lurker. During that time, we've received considerable feedback that this was a "rather weak decision" on our part.

And, you know what? You were right. It's pretty sad when the developer of the best newsreader on the planet isn't willing to be accountable in a public forum about their own product.

So, we've changed our alt.usenet.offline-reader.forte-agent policy. As of today, our head of support, Mark Prince will be a visible presence in the newsgroup.
